We are nonprofit organization entirely funded by our local members. Even though the monks offer their teaching to us at no charge, the costs to keep the Center running are considerable – averaging about $90,000 per year. These costs include such things as heat, electricity, insurance, building and grounds maintenance, and food and travel expenses for our clergy. If you believe in the work being done at the Center, and feel that it has enriched your life in some way, please consider doing your share by chipping in. We urge you to contribute in the following ways:

Become a Member and Make A Pledge

Becoming a Member indicates your intent to be part of the community of practitioners at the Center. As a Member, you also have the right to vote for our Board Members.  As an organization, we need Members to exist.


Please consider the following membership option:

Basic Member – The intention to actively participate in the activities of the Center and the willingness to contribute to the financial support of the Center at some level.

Supporting Member – A pledge to contribute $1,000 or more annually

Sustaining Member – A pledge to contribute $2,500 or more annually

Sangha Benefactor – A pledge to contribute $5,000 or more annually

Make a Non-Monetary Donation

  • Donate tea for the meditation hall
  • Donate snacks and drinks for the Family Program
  • Donate other materials we need: paper goods, kitchen goods, and office material
  • Offer a meal for monks * (In Thailand, offering food for monks is a way for practitioners to receive teaching, get to know their teacher as well as supporting the monastic structure.)
  • Donate books for our Buddhist Library
  • Share your other ideas for donations

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Volunteer for Care-taking Duties at the center; grounds and cleaning
  • Volunteer to help with activities that will help the center thrive
